he BJP and SAD were in “complete harmony” in their alliance and work in coordination with each other, BJP’s Punjab unit chief Shwait Malik said Thursday. Both parties never interfered in each other’s organisational matters, he told mediapersons.
On the probe into desecration cases and Behbal Kalan firing, he said, “The SIT should nab the real culprits in these cases rather than politicising this sensitive issue.”
Targeting the Punjab government, “Chief Minister Amarinder Singh should declare a financial emergency in the state or should produce report card of his government’s functioning. The government is on ventilator and its finance minister openly talks about financial crunch.”
He hit out at Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, saying, “He is dealing his ministry as a ‘laughter challenge’ show, making claims of distributing crores to municipal corporations. He need to present facts and figures of his department’s working.”
